Pull up a chair, grab a complimentary donut, and spend a relaxed Sunday morning with your North Park neighbors. Browse original artwork, enjoy music, discover upcoming classes and exhibitions, or simply stop by to say hello.

Whether you stay for 10 minutes or 2 hours, Art Social Club is designed to be a welcoming place to connect, unwind, and enjoy the local creative community.

This event will be hosted once a month.

Matcha by Thaiyo Cafe

Every Art Social Club features handcrafted matcha from Thaiyo Cafe, one of San Diego’s favorite local cafés.

Treat yourself to a specialty drink while you relax, create, and connect with the community. Matcha is available for purchase directly from Thaiyo Cafe during the event, making every gathering a chance to support another local small business.

Play, Paint & Create

Our make-and-take art station is all about creativity without the pressure. For just $30, you’ll complete a fun hands-on project to take home—no experience, supplies, or instruction required.

Explore materials, enjoy the process, and rediscover the simple joy of making something with your own hands.

    • Arrive anytime—like attending an open house
    • FREE ENTRY to come and check out things out
    • Drink orders handled directly with Thaiyo Cafe
    • Cost for the "Play, Paint & Create" art making station with creative host, Efren Obeso: $30
    • Art making station will be open while supplies last and is suitable for any and all skill levels
    • Walk over or Park in the back lot (as space allows)

How the Gift Card Works

  • Choose which amount you want to gift, when you want to send it, and checkout! Then, you'll receive a unique code that you can give to your recipient.

  • To redeem online, simply type the unique code into Eventbrite's ticket box at checkout to redeem (where you enter a Promo Code).
