About the Instructor
Theo Osborn
Theo was born in Japan in 2003, and raised in downtown Sacramento. He was surrounded by many talented emerging artists, and dedicated his life to painting. He specializes in acrylic and oil realism, and is set to graduate with a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Chico State in May of 2025.
For the past seven years, I have been honing my craft, as a professional and individual. I have sold and shown work all over the California area. I paint reproductions of collaged tapestries by combining internet based images. Through this exploration, I seek to evoke conversation about the effects of the internet via the imagery that I collage. In each piece, I push to represent the iconography and digital processes only seen within digital landscapes, allowing for a more in-depth consideration by utilizing traditional media such as painting.
What Our Students Are Saying
"I've never been associated with a gallery / school that offers a supportive and congenial atmosphere. It's easy to create in this kind of environment." – Roberta D.
