Finding Your Artist Style

Monday AM Class • Level 3

  • In This Class, You'll Learn:

What makes an artist’s work instantly recognizable—and how do you get there? Learn how to develop a cohesive, authentic artistic style that feels true to who you are.

Led by gallery owner and artist mentor Kate Ashton, this class goes beyond technique to help you uncover your visual voice and translate it into a body of work that stands out.

Through guided exercises, feedback, and strategic exploration, learn how to identify patterns in your work, refine your aesthetic, and begin building a consistent style that can evolve into a recognizable signature.

This isn’t about copying trends or forcing a look—it’s about discovering what’s already inside and bringing it into focus.

*NOTE* This is not a "how to paint" class, students should be proficient with their ability to paint and already be familiar with painting techniques.

We recommend taking a few sessions of any Level 2 course to build this important foundation before pursuing this Level 3 course.
