Professional Artists

Ashton Gallery represents the artists who are a part of the Professional Artist Program.

Gallery Representation via Community

It's not often you see an art gallery owner provide their artists this level of support and mentorship. The Professional Artists get a chance to work 1-on-1 with owner and senior mentor, Kate Ashton, while being with other advanced and experienced artists.

You'll be represented by Ashton Gallery and have your work on display year-round. There are many exclusive benefits and opportunities that come with this program.

Growth Doesn't Stop Here

Throughout the year, Kate gives her Professional Artists what she calls "challenges" to provide fresh inspiration and stimulate new growth. These challenges will then become a group exhibit at Ashton Gallery.

There's always something new to learn at Art on 30th—even if you're a pro.

Jamie also teaches the Acrylic Painting: Level 1 class on Wednesday evenings and Art 101: Getting Started workshops.

Bev Coalson

Bev has spent 25 years living on the ocean and her art sings with the colors, rhythms, and soulfulness of the ancient sea.

Diane Doonan

Diane brings a fresh voice to her art. Her artwork sings with creativity and unexpected newness.

Pat Elkins

Pat brings a fresh looseness to the canvas and her colors swirl and dance with enthusiasm and joy.

Shirin brings a sense of fun and expressiveness to the unexpected whimsical nature of life.

Shirin is one of our rotating teachers for the Special Studies class on Wednesday mornings and various workshops.

Michiyo Matsuura

Michiyo's love of nature imbues all of her work with an attention to detail and the colors nature blesses us with.
